Hire At The Playground Theatre
Welcome to our theatre.
The stage is at ground level and has ease of access for load-ins and get-outs via the main entrance or the side door. Our lighting rig consists of 48 channels of dimmable power run from an ETC Element lighting desk and connected via 5-pin dmx. Power supply to the lighting bars is via two hard-wired Zero88 Chilli Dimmers, which have switchable power to transform the 15a supply into 13a hot power for moving lights, projectors, led lights and similar.
Sound is provided via our Behringer x32 mixing desk with xlr 16 in's and 8 out's plus four RCF speakers in the rig. We run a Mac with Qlab and have an audio/visual license but you are welcome to bring your own computer in. We have an Epson projector and a range of theatre lights.
Film Hire and Live Music recording - please note that the theatre is not a sound-proofed and ambient noise from outside can sometimes be heard inside the theatre space - this includes passing planes and trains, rain on the roof, sirens and similar.
