Artists include Maggie Nicols, Paul Jolly, Brenda Ford, Bird Superior, Gwendolyn Kassenaar, and Andy Findon. 

The performance will include poems by Bob Kaufman, Allen Ginsberg, Langston Hughes, Dylan Thomas, Jennifer Nadel and Geoff Eales.

GEOFF EALES is one of the UK’s most eclectic musicians. He is an acclaimed composer, pianist, improviser, musical director and arranger. He has performed at many of the world’s leading concert halls, festivals and jazz clubs including the Purcell Room, Ronnie Scott’s, New York’s Birdland and the Blue Note Clubs of Japan.

MAGGIE NICOLS is a Scottish improvising vocalist, dancer and performer, An ex-member of John Stevens’ ground-breaking Spontaneous Music Ensemble and Keith Tippett’s 50-piece Centipede
Orchestra,
she is in great demand on the European avant-garde circuit.
PAUL JOLLY is a saxophonist, composer and record producer. A leading light on the British free jazz and improvisation scene, he created his own label, 33 Records, in 1990. To date “33” have released over 350 albums of contemporary jazz. 
BRENDA FORD is a singer, actress and dancer. She learnt her craft at the Celia Raye Dancing School in Ilford and is very much steeped in the variety show and pantomime tradition. She recently received rave reviews for her role as Salome on Geoff Eales’ latest album Love Sacred and Profane.
GWENDOLYN KASSENAAR  is a London-based, Dutch visual artist and performer. A graduate from Chelsea College of Art, her live-art and studio work are based on rhythm, music and dance, capturing the intangible poetry of the ephemeral moment.
JENNIFER NADEL is a novelist, politician, poet and award-winning journalist. Her most recent book – We: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere, written in collaboration with actress Gillian Anderson, is published by Harper Collins in the UK and Atria in the US.
ANDY FINDON is Europe’s most recorded flautists and is one of the world’s leading exponents of the ethnic flute. He is an ex-principal of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, is the longest serving member of the Michael Nyman Band, and currently works with the folk/rock group Gryphon.
BEN WAGHORN is one of the UK’s most creative saxophone players, equally at home playing straight-ahead or contemporary jazz styles. He has worked extensively with piano icon Keith Tippett and is heavily featured on Geoff Eales’ celebrated albums Shifting Sands, Free Flow and Love Sacred & Profane.
ASHLEY JOHN LONG is an award-winning virtuoso double bassist and composer active in a diverse range of musical idioms including jazz and free improvisation, early and contemporary chamber music, and as a soloist.
FARADINA AFIFI is a vocalist, dancer and multi-instrumentalist. Specialising in free improvisation, experimental music and folk, she founded the Noisy Women’s Orchestra in the middle of lock-down in 2020, and is currently making huge waves on the avant-garde scene in both the UK and Europe.
