Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda Sayre burned up the world in a fury of passion, friendship and beauty. Fuelled by the pulsating beat of an onstage jazz trio, playwright Allan Knee's provocative new play fuses music, literature and art to reveal the thrilling yet tragic story of this literary ménage à trois.

Three actors and three jazz musicians will place audiences within touching distance of The Jazz Age as the thrilling; yet tragic story of Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda Sayre unravels.

THEY WERE YOUNG. THEY WERE DRIVEN.
THEY WERE DECADENT.
THEY WERE THE JAZZ AGE.

“Knee’s play is about inspiration. It is about the discovery that every artist needs to survive and thrive. It always seems so effortless when you see great artists work, but behind every artwork is a soul trying to comprehend the world around them.” The Hollywood Reporter.

“Delicious, absorbing, witty.” LA Times.

“I want to be awake every minute of my life.
I want to write not one great book – but a dozen.
I want to fall in love so deeply that I never recover from it." Scott Fitzgerald, The Jazz Age.
