Lockdown Liftups Digital
The Playground Theatre and KickItDown Productions present Lockdown Liftups Digital.
In March 2020 KickItdown put a call out on the BBC Writersroom. After receiving 700 submissions in total, 18 final pieces were selected. KickItDown is excited to announce that it will be sharing these 18 stories with the world throughout December. Six evenings of streamed Zoom pieces and audio dramas, all created in lockdown by established and emerging artists. Tickets are offered on a ‘Pay What You Can’ basis.
KickItDown was set up in March as a response to the Covid19 crisis, and since its inception it has managed to connect with over 500+ artists worldwide, finding stories that connect, inspire and engage.
Line Up/Running Order:
These pieces will be livestreamed on YouTube.
December 2nd 7.30: Let’s Meet Up, Past the Pier, Mousing.
December 5th 7.30: Catch It, Whiskey Wednesdays, Wallace.
December 12th 7.30: The Time is Now, Seaside, My Heart is not Home.
December 16th 7.30: 3800 Miles, Guy/Man/Guy, Twitcher.
December 19th 7.30: Native, Peer Support, Choose Shoes.
December 21st 7.30: CTRL ALT DELETE, Love In Lockdown, Tina.
