Gerard Logan
Gerard Logan trained at the
Royal Academy of Dramatic Art
where he won the
Bancroft Gold Medal.
Credits include leading roles in tv, film, radio and
classical and contemporary theatre roles with the
Royal Shakespeare Company (where he received an
Olivier Award nomination), the National Theatre, in
the West End, with numerous leading provincial
theatres and in film, TV and radio.
Gerard won The Stage Newspaper’s “Best Solo
Performer” Award at the 2011 Edinburgh Festival
for his performance in Shakespeare’s great narrative
poem “The Rape of Lucrece”.
He won the “Best Actor” award at the 2014 Buxton
Theatre Festival for his performance as Oscar Wilde
in “Wilde Without the Boy” / “The Ballad of Reading Gaol”, and 5 Star reviews for the same
performance at both the 2015 and 2016 Edinburgh
Festivals.
He is currently touring internationally with
“The Rape of Lucrece”,
“Wilde Without the Boy” / “The Ballad of Reading
Gaol”
and, most recently,
“Night Terrors – The Ghost Stories of E F Benson”
,
also directed by Gareth Armstrong.
