When the lives of three women are brought together in the gloom of an attic in an old Victorian house, their journeys of discovery into the stories amongst the bric-a-brac uncover a past of memories and secrets that have remained hidden for decades: stirring up more than just stories about a past best left forgotten.

Simon Beyer is currently General Manager at The Playground Theatre and Artistic Director of Paper Breadcrumbs. He has previously been Executive Producer and Co-Founder of The Cock Tavern Theatre, Chair of The Board of Trustees for Stone Crabs Theatre Company and Artistic Director of The Ant Theatre Company. He has worked with a range of well-known people from stage and screen such as: Golden Globe-winner Brian Cox, Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes, Judy Cornwell (Keeping Up Appearances), David Baddiel (comedian/writer), Karen Paullada (Stella), Sally Farmiloe-Neville (Howards Way) and many others.

Simon Beyer is a freelance theatre multi-disciplinarian: a director, writer of plays and musicals, producer, composer and songwriter. He is also proficient in theatre management and in sound and lighting design.
He’s worked on a lot of shows, so here’s just a few:

The Cast:

Emma Locke
Emma is a 2021 graduate of the professional acting diploma at Drama Studio London. Whilst training Emma had the opportunity to play Anna Petrovna in Wild Honey, directed by Jacquie Crago, and Elmire in Tartuffe directed by Kevin Tomlinson. Emma is excited to be back at The Playground Theatre after finishing a run of 'The Robbers' rewritten by Mike Poulton, directed by Rupert Hands, in June.

Ineke Neeson
Ineke is an Australian actor and illustrator. Ineke has always had a gift for creativity, first attending music school to train in classical viola, before completing her BA in filmmaking and TV production. Before realising her passion for acting, Ineke worked in professional marketing in Melbourne and London. Since arriving in London in 2018, Ineke has completed two years of acting training, first on the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama’s foundation acting diploma, and most recently on Drama Studio London’s professional acting diploma.

Harry Roebuck
Born in Liverpool and traveling from a young age to Canada, Scotland and Yorkshire, Harry Roebuck is a recent graduate from Drama Studio London. With a BA Honours in Creative Writing and Film Production, Harry has always sought a career in creating entertainment in everything from Theatre to Film and Television.
