Noite de Fados

Join us on the 12th  December from 5.30pm for a pre-Christmas  night of live Fado music and dining inside the theatre. With celebrated singer Cristina Miguel  accompanied by musicians Ze Pedro and Antonio Alves


Alma Lusitana é uma organização sem fins lucrativos dedicada a promover, criar e produzir eventos e projectos artísticos, mais propriamente nas áreas de Teatro e Artes Performativas, que estejam ligados de alguma forma à Cultura Lusófona.

O objectivo deste evento é para promover e dar a conhecer Alma Lusitana como uma nova organização cultural, assim como a angariação de fundos para a criação de um Grupo de Teatro amador Lusófono. O projecto procura nutrir o conhecimento de autores da Língua Portuguesa junto de descendentes ou imigrantes de países Lusófonos assim como promover a herança cultural e artística de países Lusófonos.

Alma Lusitana is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, create and produce artistic events and projects, more specifically in the areas of Theater and Performing Arts, which are connected in some way to Lusophone Culture.

The purpose of this event is to promote Alma Lusitana as a new cultural organization, as well as raising funds for the creation of an Amateur Group of Lusophone Theatre Group. The project seeks to nurture the knowledge of authors of Portuguese language with descendants or immigrants from Lusophone countries and to promote the cultural and artistic heritage of Lusophone countries.

Tickets for this event are:
- table (2 people) - £ 35 (side) £ 40 (central);
- table max. 3 people £ 60 (central);
- table max. 4 people £ 70 (side);
- table max. 6 people £ 120 (central);
A limited number of tables are available. Each  ticket purchase is for one table  to seat the number of people as listed. Eg if you buy a £70 ticket, that will get you four seats.
Each ticket purchased for a table includes olives and bread: food and drink can be purchased from the cafe/bar, which is provided by Portobello Health Foods.


The Auction is in support of the development of   Losophone Theatre Group based in west London.

Social Distance Seating at The Playground Theatre
To comply with Covid-19 Social Distancing guidelines, tickets for this event are only available in seating clusters of seats. Patrons who are coming in a party of up to six people will need to purchase two or more seating clusters appropriate to their needs. Your party may not necessarily be in clusters of seats next to each other, but each cluster is socially distant from other seats.

Please ensure you bring and wear a mask in the theatre or purchase one from the box office. Please be advised that if anyone attending shows signs of being unwell or receives a temperature test that indicates they may be affected by Covid19 , the venue reserves the right to refuse admission in the interests of health and safety of all patrons in the theatre.

Temperature checks are being taken at point of entry and you are also required to either provide your contact details for track and trace or scan the QR code linked to the NHS tracking app.

Please note all seating purchases are final and refunds in part or in whole cannot be made if you or a member of your party is unable to attend or is refused entry due to late arrival or as a result of a high temperature check or showing symptoms associated with Covid-19.
