31st July 2021.
Stars of their own BBC Radio 1 Podcast and featuring comedians seen on BBC, Channel 4 and Comedy Central – award winning comedy company BattleActs is back in town.
The show sees two teams of fearless improvisers pitched against each other by a ball-busting compere. Each team attempts to prove their worth and battle it out for the ultimate prize: the audience’s respect!
A high-octane mix of seemingly impossible challenges and incredible physicality, the teams contort their bodies and test their wits fighting invisible giants, creating jokes on the spot and face a terrifying voting system to decide the winner. No two shows are the same, featuring unique challenges and forfeits to keep the players and the audience on their toes.
To ensure the health and safety of all audience members, performers and theatre staff and reduce the risk of Covid-19 cross-contamination we regret that any latecomers will not be permitted into the Theatre.
The rules keep changing but we are now able to allow you to remain in the building after last orders, which is nomally just before 10pm, until the Bar closes its doors. The theatre will normally shut its doors by 10pm, but you are welcome to remain in the Bar to chat until closing time, which is normally around 10.30pm.
Please ensure you bring and wear a mask in the theatre or purchase one from the box office. Please be advised that if anyone attending shows signs of being unwell or receives a temperature test that indicates they may be affected by Covid19, the venue reserves the right to refuse admission in the interests of health and safety of all patrons in the theatre.
Temperature checks are being taken at point of entry and you are also required to either provide your contact details for track and trace or scan the QR code linked to the NHS tracking app.
Please note all seating purchases are final and refunds in part or in whole cannot be made if you or a member of your party is unable to attend or is refused entry due to late arrival or as a result of a high temperature check or showing symptoms associated with Covid-19. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
